"I’ve thought a lot about the psychology of cheating and reckon it flows largely from one thing - you don’t value yourself as a person: if you did, you’d end a relationship that was not fulfilling because, knowing how valuable you are, you’d be sure to find someone else.
People who don’t value themselves think - “well, I’ve got this person who loves me, but I’m not sure about them. I’m also not sure whether I can do any better than them, because I don’t value myself, so I’ll just test the waters here and shag this other person.”
I dunno, maybe I’m wrong, I’m wrong about plenty of other stuff, but this seems a feasible theory to squirt into cyberspace on a Friday."
